Welcome to the WIS Middle School Language A Wikispace!

My name is Jill Craig and I am the Middle School Language A (English) teacher.

Through this wikispace, I will be keeping you up to date with what your child is doing in the Language A classroom. This should give you a better insight into classroom practices, activities and expectations and should allow you to support your child's learning more effectively.

More about Me

For those of you who don't know me, please allow me to tell you a bit about myself - My name is Jill Craig and I come from England. I moved to Poland with my husband and two children 7 years ago and have been teaching at Wroclaw International School ever since. It has been a very exciting time at WIS and I have really enjoyed living here and watching the school grow and embrace the IB Middle Years Programme. Before moving to Poland I taught in Japan for about 10 years and then in London for 3 years.

I am the grade 9 & 10 Advisor, Middle School Language A (English) teacher and Personal Project Coordinator. I will also be working alongside the Student Representative Council as the supervising teacher.

I am really looking forward to working with your children this year and I hope that you will not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
